His name is comprised of words from five African languages. Mondo was
formeerly known as David Rice. Mondo and Ed Poindexter have been
incarcerateed since 1970 , having been convicted of the murder of a Caucasian
police officer. Mondo and Ed have maintained from the beginning that they
are innocent and that they were wrongfully convicted.
